“Stay away from that hotel!
1700 € per night. A major construction site right under the windows. Huge disappointment. View ruined. Experience ruined.
We also booked a room with a small balcony but got small windows on the last floor. But a balcony wouldn’t safe the experience anyways. That construction is horrible. Noise starts at 8 in the morning!
Yes the staff was nice and helpful. But the hotel itself doesn’t cost that money even if there was no construction.

“DO NOT STAY HERE! Disgusted by how poorly we were treated, from the moment of arrival we felt unwelcome. I would encourage anyone looking for a great experience on Lake Como to stay at one of the many other beautiful hotels. Among the many issues we had included no bell boy to help us with our bags out of the car, no one showed us the hotel's amenities after check in, the "luxury" services they booked for us were far from it, front desk had mistakes in scheduling services and communication breakdowns that led to disputes on pricing during check out. We had no immediate car service just waited for a taxi to show up. Wanted to have dinner one night at the restaurant and were told they couldn't seat us (literally not a single person was in the restaurant). Front desk agent was rude. Also this hotel isn't even on the water! We purchased a "Lake View Room" and instead had a view of the loud, dusty, dirty construction site right in front of the hotel! Will never be back and asking for a refund.”
