O Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Downtown é um hotel de 1928 que foi totalmente reformado. Fica muito bem localizado, na Brodway Street, junto ao Horton Plaza (shopping), a estação de Santa Fé Depot e o maravilhoso Gaslamp Quarter. O Gaslamp Quarter é cheio de construções antigas (entre elas o Louis Bank of Commerce e o Yuma Building), restaurantes e bares.

Beautiful hotel! Who knew courtyard can be this gorgeous. It’s definitely THE BEST courtyard I’ve seen.Front desks agents are so polite and friendly, thank to you Liz and Deia for starting my stay with such a high note.Very strong loyalty recognition here. This is one of those properties the Marriott corporate would be so proud of.100% recommended to ANYONE VISITING SAN DIEGO. Lindo hotel! Quem diria que o pátio pode ser tão lindo. So far this has been a great hotel. I love the old history and bank feel. Food/ bar service is somewhat limited which was a bummer for lunch, so check hours. The rooms are very cool looking. Note that there are no dressers in the Q/Q room. So this was a little bit of a bummer since we stayed for 5 days. Also no comp breakfast or room water

While this is a nice hotel, they do not provide any waters in the room. When you ask about getting a water they tell you that they sell them and you can have the first one on them but that they don’t provide them normally.On top of that, if you go to the bar and ask for a glass of water they go and tell you to go buy one in the market.This is not a customer first attitude. Even Starbucks gives you free water without even being a customer. Most places will give you free water if you are a customer.O, and the free water they will offer you cost about 15 cents, 10 cents if you buy from Costco.

This hotel, and the amazing Kandi at the front desk, swooped in to help my family at a difficult moment when we needed a comfortable place to land after receiving bad news. As a frequent traveler, I kept my expectations low - we were just looking for a place to crash - but the hotel far exceeded them. I can not speak to the neighborhood (we were in another neighborhood during the day), but we had a very comfortable stay and great experience while in the property. The hotel itself is in a stunning old bank building. And the rooms were modern, spacious, and comfortable. Fluffy pillows, ample outlets, plentiful hot water, good smelling soaps. Another shout out to Kandi - I needed to extend our stay an extra night, and she helped ensure we were able to stay in our same room. I’ve stayed at other Marriott properties in the San Diego area (including the pricey hotel on Coronado), and this one far exceeded the rest.

First time in San Diego visitors. Enjoyed our time at this hotel,Front desk were always helpful.The Bartender Ramon(Nieto) was fantastic.Always accommodating.Rooms clean.Great historic hotel. One of our disappointed times was with the breakfast one morning where they stopped serving before the time they were supposed to be done. And yes we did see a few of the manyhomeless people with the stench of urine and seeing feces on the sidewalks. This is not the hotels responsibility but we see this in every city in the United States. We really did enjoy our stay. Primeira vez em visitantes de San Diego. Apreciamos o nosso tempo neste hotel, a recepção sempre foi útil. O Barman Ramon(Nieto) foi fantástico. Sempre acomodando. Quartos limpos. Ótimo hotel histórico. Um dos nossos momentos decepcionados foi com o café da manhã uma manhã, onde eles pararam de servir antes do horário em que deveriam ser feitos. E sim, vimos alguns dos muitos sem-teto com cheiro de urina e vendo fezes nas calçadas. Isso não é responsabilidade dos hotéis, mas vemos isso em todas as cidades dos Estados Unidos. Nós realmente apreciamos a nossa estadia.

This place was great. Very helpful and friendly, there were times I needed assistance and not once did I feel they were irritated or annoyed. Right next to the Gaslamp area, walking distance to all sorts of convenient places.Only issue I have was no parking so I had to use valet. The valet team was great but that's extra money.Still worth the 5 star rating.

The location of this hotel is quiet a distance from most venues ie the San Diego convention center.There are plenty of restaurants around the area, however, parking may be a challenge especially, on days like comic con.Once you get inside, Wow!!As soon as you come through the door this Courtyard Marriott is a showstopper. Literally the attention to detail of the restoration of the common areas is amazing.The bar was larger than expected, however it was dead.The biggest disappointment was the moment you step foot in the elevator.The restoration work definitely went down hill.The presidential wasnt very presidential.Other than the balcony and large space, It didn't feel special.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. I know people comment about the charm of this property, but I honestly got American Horror Story vibes. This property was also surrounded by homeless people and trash all over the sidewalks along with armed security walking around (dont believe they were affiliated with Marriott). I attempted to get some food since the hotel had zero options open and felt completely unsafe. Valet was over $54 dollars a night. Although, the room was clean, I definitely would not recommend this property based on my experience. I paid almost $350 a night

El hotel estaba muy buen decorado y las personas al frente estaban muy amables y me ayudaron hacer todas las transacciones que necesitaba. el hotel está ubicado en la parte central de San Diego que está perfecto para salir para ir a comer y para explorar la ciudad. el cuarto estaba bien decorado pero se nota que era en un hotel viejo que remodelaron pero los cuartos estaban limpios y muy bien construidos. Me encantaría quedarme en este hotel otra vez

Hermoso edificio histórico, muy bien mantenido, reciclado, amable atención en la recepción. No reponían el jabón en el baño, lo que me pareció que le resta una estrella a este hotel que podría ser de 4.... Y extrañamos el desayuno...

This is such a cool hotel. It's an old bank that has been converted into a hotel, so you can still see legacy items of a bank such as drop boxes and the gym is in the old vault. A really awesome...
